Web Design/Development

Here are examples of my web design and development that are public (all links open new windows):

   Creighton University
Creighton University's primary sites are in a CMS Typo3. As such I design and build the template html and associated CSS and Flash that the site requires.
The Cat House - a not for profit organization, staffed entirely by volunteers
Although, due to work schedule, my volunteering has dwindled, this is an ongoing project. Most graphics except for the logo are mine or images of the actual cats from the shelter. Site was built using PHP, Javascript, CSS, MySQL and HTML. The e-commerce section is OSCommerce and some of the recent graphics are my webmaster's contributions. This site will continue to grow.
   National Arbor Day Foundation
National Arbor Day Foundation. Done in Coldfusion, Flash, and SQL Server. The site has been redesigned since I left. Some of what I worked on does remain. Below are links to pages that still utilize my content and or applications:
Visit What kids can do to help... (the Rain Forest), page content and flash activity (#2)
Visit The Amazing Rain Forest. page content and flash.
Visit Some of the postcards - Make a difference, Long Shadow, A Shining Tree, Ancient Spoke
Visit Membership application area page content and application.
   We The People..
This was a client site that never left testing. The graphic design is the clients with struture and backend application is mine. It was designed for consumer and political complaints as well as finding contact information for those complaints. Included was a complaint (or complement) templated letter where the user could go through and answer a number of questions. The letter would compose itself from the answers to the template. All the data, letters, letter writers, etc would be stored in the database. Client lost interest before going live, the database is no longer active so many links are broken.
   Freeman Preparation Program
Done in HTML, Javascript, PHP and MySQL. After using this program to overcome my fear of surgery, I was so impressed that I offered to do the web site. This is just the beginning of this site. We plan to put streaming video, a survey and a Surgeon area and patient instruction area.
