Sometimes some amazing things emerge when you look back on your life. Especially when you find that you probably slept through your 15 minutes of fame.
In 1971 I was in Washington D.C., attempting to work as a photo journalist. So I take some pictures of some of the demonstrations against the War in Washington D.C. Now a few.... ah years later, I decide to put some of the up on the site. So I think, maybe I should research what demonstration it was. Hence I realize that I not only fell of the boat years ago, but took a dunk again during the last presidential campaign.
Welcome to my images from Dewey Canyon III the VVAW Demonstrations against the war in Vietnam. Did I get any images of John Kerry? If so they were too small for me to recognize. However, many of the images you will see here, are caught in other angles by other photographers and are in Kerry's book "New Soldier". (actually if you have access to the book, look on page 111 at the picture on the bottom, looking at the lower right corner. That's me).
This pictures are historical. They may, or they may not, reflect my political beliefs.
